FAQS

For over 54 years we have been providing high quality healthcare products and services to our community. Our experienced customer service representatives will happily answer your questions about our products and services and they will assist you in determining the proper items to serve your needs. We recognize how critical it is for patients to have their equipment quickly. Our process and commitment to exceptional service allow us to provide equipment efficiently.

We service everything we sell, so when you purchase an item from us you can rest assured that our technical support staff will provide maintenance and repair service when you need it. We service everything from the simplest to the most complicated. We make house calls, too! When you need medical equipment and you are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance; our medical billing staff can handle the red tape for you to determine if you qualify for reimbursement on approved items.

Anderson Wheelchair is a licensed provider for Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, HealthPartners, and other private insurance plans.
Most insurance companies will pay between 50% and 80% of a set allowable price for medical equipment. The amount that your insurance company covers will depend in part on the type of equipment you need and the state in which you live.
As an authorized provider for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Anderson Wheelchair will handle all of the paperwork for you. Once we have received your doctor’s approval, we will send the necessary documentation to your insurance company for approval. Once we receive an approval, we will work with you to select and deliver the right equipment. Once equipment is delivered, Anderson Wheelchair will bill your insurance for you.
Anderson Wheelchair provides manual wheelchairs, standard power wheelchairs, Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) equipment, scooters, hospital beds, walkers, patient lifts, mobility ramps, vehicle lifts, lift chairs, gait trainers and other equipment that is customized for the patient’s needs. With each of these categories, Anderson Wheelchair works with a wide array of manufacturers, which allows us to select the right equipment for the patient’s needs.
Our mobility and rehabilitation specialists are trained to help you determine which product(s) will be best for your height, weight, and intended use. Often times we will work together with a physical therapist or occupational therapist to determine which products will fit your lifestyle best.
